Frank is a singer/songwriter/guitarist, who began his career in 1967 as a lead singer / masochistic tambourine player. He later learned to play bass guitar, 6 and 12 string guitars and several other percussion instruments. Touring in the Far East and performing for over 20,000 troops, he found that his love for music and performing, far outweighed his desire to be a career military man.
After finishing his duty to the Army, he went back to his hometown, Tampa, Fl., put together several bands, duos and trios and started playing the coffee house circuit and clubs throughout Florida. That lasted into the late 70’s. He then moved into the broadcasting field and became an on-air personality and mobile DJ.
He has worked as an A&R (Artist & Repertoire) agent for several studios in the Tampa Bay Area. But, his real love was performing and that lead him back to playing and singing.
He currently performs a solo act for several “open air markets” in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Sarasota and Manatee Counties, restaurants, country clubs, yacht clubs and generally wherever the next gig takes him. His music covers the 50’s - 2K and is a mix of oldies, pop, folk, soft rock, (give or take some Stones, Kinks and Steppenwolf songs thrown in for fun) and original songs, many of which are parodies or comedic. Just to keep things honest, he also teaches guitar to senior citizens.
He has been quoted as saying, “It’s both an honor and a privilege to be performing. It is my belief that I’ll be able to bring back some fond memories to my audience".
